According to our electric shaver expert
The Philips Series 3000 S3520/06 is a starter model electric shaver. It can be used for beginning and light beard growth. The electric shaver is only suitable for dry shaves, which allows your skin to gently get used to the intensity of electric shaving. The flexible shaver head moves in 4 different directions and adjusts to your facial contours. You'll find an extendable precision trimmer at the back of the electric shaver, which can be used to trim your sideburns and neck hair. Once you're done shaving, you can rinse the shaver head under the faucet.

Years ago I shaved with another type of electric shaver, but I was not satisfied with the result. So I switched to manual shaving. No complaints about the result, but that's a hassle every time! So procrastination, a few days unshaven through life until it really was no longer visible.
so not anymore! This device is my salvation ;-)
The three separately moving shaving heads ensure a nice smooth result. You do have to "learn" to shave well with the device... unlike a classic shaver, you have to shave with small rotating movements for an optimal result. Once you have mastered that technique, and your skin is used to it, you can go through life smoothly.
The battery lasts quite a long time, with me just under three weeks. If the battery is really empty, you're good for one shave in 5 minutes.
Quite sorry for all that wasted time with those razor blades, should have done this a long time ago.

For decades I have sworn by wet shaving, but since about 3 years I alternate with the use of a 'wireless' shaver due to lack of time. And that was a good choice. Now I can just shave while working. Since a few weeks I exchanged my old shaver for a Philips Shaver 3000. It took some adjustment, because there were a few differences with my previous device. The first shave with this device was very surprising. I had a 3/4 day old stubble and with my previous device this would be a real torture. But with this device I stopped shaving after 10 seconds to see if I hadn't forgotten to take off the protective cap. So it felt very pleasant without the slightest irritation. I did have the impression that the hairs were shaved less thoroughly, but by moving the device more slowly over your skin, this was also resolved.
All in all, I'm happy with my purchase, and the good thing is that I'm now reaching for this device more and more for a quick shave.
