Comparison between the Kobo Clara HD, Libra H2O, and Forma

All three Kobo e-readers have a different size, but that's not the only difference. For example, the Libra and Forma have an ergonomic handle with buttons, and they're waterproof. The Kobo Clara HD has a 6-inch HD screen. The size of this e-reader can be compared to a postcard. Thanks to its compact size and light weight of 166g, you can easily take the Clara HD with you in your bag. This model isn't water-resistant. Because of this, you have to be careful when reading in the bathtub or on the beach. The e-reader is made of plastic and is fairly sturdy.

The 6.8-inch screen of the Kobo Libra H2O is slightly larger than that of the Clara HD. This sharp Full HD screen lets you read more comfortably than the HD screen of the Kobo Clara. The device is also water-resistant, so you can take the e-reader to the pool without worries. The Libra has an ergonomic handle on the side of the device. That way, you can easily hold the e-reader comfortably for a longer period of time. The Libra also has a plastic exterior.

With this, you can adjust the brightness of the screen and the color temperature to your liking. This way, you can also read a book in the evening without straining your eyes.

The Kobo Clara is the easiest to carry thanks to the compact 6-inch HD screen. The 8-inch Kobo Forma is useful if you also read magazines, manga, and comics. The Libra falls exactly in between. In addition, the Libra and Forma both have an ergonomic handle with physical buttons, and they're waterproof. This makes them more luxurious and user-friendly than the Kobo Clara.
