First impression of the Samsung Q70D
The Q70D has a modern look thanks to its thin screen that's 25mm thick and the striking stand. This makes a television from this series a stylish addition to your interior. This television includes the Solar One Remote, just like the other Samsung televisions. You can charge it with sunlight and artificial light. Via the Clean Cable Solution, you can easily and neatly hide the TV cables.
Bright and colorful images
The 4K QLED display shows color tones accurately and ensures bright and lifelike colors. This way, I can see all the different color tones while watching a nature documentary. Thanks to the 10-bit color depth, the screen shows over 1 billion colors. This makes images extra vibrant and immersive. The QLED television has a higher refresh rate than other Samsung QLED series. Thanks to the 100Hz refresh rate, fast actions also look smooth on screen.
Rich contrast
Thanks to Dual LED technology, I can enjoy watching a space documentary with a very strong contrast. This makes the dark parts of the screen look really dark and the lighter parts very bright. The Dual LED technology doesn't just provide a strong contrast, but also a good viewing angle. When I watch TV from an angle, the images remain clearly visible. The colors become slightly duller when I'm in the corner though.
Remote and smart platform
This television includes the useful Solar One Remote. This is a compact remote with only a few buttons, which makes it very clear. At the press of a button, you can find all your favorite apps like Netflix, YouTube, and Spotify. The useful smart menu remembers what you like to watch and will list this content for you. That way, you can quickly navigate through the smart menu. You can also use the useful 'smart buttons' on the remote to navigate to apps like Disney+ and Amazon Prime quickly.
Conclusion
With the Samsung Q70D, you get a fine QLED television for your home. Thanks to the 4K QLED display and high 100Hz refresh rate, movies and series are displayed brightly, vibrantly, and smoothly. Combined with the low input lag and 4 HDMI ports, the television is suitable for gamers too. I do recommend a separate soundbar and subwoofer for an immersive sound experience. For a higher brightness and better sound experience, choose the Samsung QLED Q80D.
