You clean the milk system of your Siemens EQ9 daily and weekly. For the daily cleaning sessions, you take the the milk system apart and clean it. Once a week, you clean the machine with a cleaning agent. That way, you machine is hygienic, and you make sure you don't get bacteria or blockages. In this article, we'll explain how to clean the milk system.
Step 1: clean the milk system
1: remove the milk reservoir 2: slide the coffee nozzle down all the way 3: remove the milk system 4: take the milk system apart 5: clean the parts with some soap and a soft cloth 6: rinse all the parts under running water 7: put the parts back together 8: place the milk system and milk reservoir back in the machine
Step 2: run the cleaning program
1: press the right-most button to open the cleaning program 2: select 'Clean milk system' 3: confirm your choice by pressing the dial 4: empty the milk reservoir and place it back 5: place an empty glass under the coffee nozzle and press the dial again. 6: the milk system now cleans automatically 7: at the end of the program, you rinse the milk reservoir and place it back 8: the machine is now ready for use
