What's laptop imaging?

With laptop imaging, we make an overview of the software and settings that you and your colleagues use. We make an installation file from all this information that you can install on a new laptop with a push of the button. Thanks to this, you're done installing in a few minutes and you can make the laptop ready for use right away.

With laptop imaging, you can make all laptops in your company ready for use in one go, with the same software and settings. This saves you and your colleagues a lot of time and effort when installing a new laptop. You only need 1 laptop image for the rest of the computers within the company. We ask € 150 fixed costs and € 15 per laptop for this.

Laptop imaging vs Windows Autopilot

Windows Autopilot is a different type of laptop imaging, but via a cloud service. The IT department manages all laptops via this cloud service, instead of a laptop image. That's why we only recommend Windows Autopulot when your company mainly works via a cloud storage. Do you mainly work via standard programs and hardware? A laptop image works best for your organization.

How do we install a laptop image?

When you purchase a business laptop via your Coolblue Business account at Coolblue, you indicate that this laptop has to receive an image. An image we've made for you before, for example. Haven't we made an image for you yet? We'll make one with your preferences. Coolblue will then deliver the requested laptops with image to the indicated address.
