What's the right connector for your electric cooktop?
It's important to have a suitable connector for any cooktop. Otherwise, it only works partially, not at all, or the fuses can blow.
• 1 phase: a 1-phase connection is a standard connector with a normal socket and delivers up to 3680W. This mainly applies to freestanding cooktops.
• 2 phases: with a cooktop with up to 7360W power, the power is distributed over 2 phases. The cooktop is permanently installed directly into the wall via a connection cable.
• 3 phases: most modern cooktops with a power of more than 7400W distribute voltage over 3 phases. To prevent overload, they're connected via a fixed connector in the wall.
Note: we don't connect your cooktop for you. If you don't have experience with connecting cooktops, contact a certified electrician of your choosing.
