Paper shredders with a safety level of DIN P-5 are the safest of all. All documents are turned into irreparably small pieces by this shredder. A single sheet of A4 paper is turned into at least 2000 micro shreds. That means one chip has a size of just 2 by 15 millimeters. Shredders with a safety level of P-5 are often used by government agencies and the Ministry of Defense. These are often sensitive documents with information that can't be disclosed. These shredders are called micro-cut shredders.
