It is a small lens that you can easily take with you everywhere. Framing does require some footwork, but you gain a lot of sharpness with it. Focusing may be slightly slower than much more expensive USM lenses, but you can focus flawlessly while filming. Still in combination with my 70D. If I ever upgrade to a full-frame camera, this lens can go with me. Due to the speed of the lens (f2.8) you can very nicely separate your object to be photographed from the background. And all that for a reasonable price! A great lens for every canon owner and in my opinion a must have!
