How happy can you be with a "simp(e)le(human)" trash can?!
The current trash can had been broken for a while, the pedal no longer opened the lid and had to be manually removed from the trash can every time
I had told my girlfriend before that there had to be a new trash can, with a response back of yes he still does it or that will come...
Months went by until after half a year the irritation was so great that I was fed up and again told my girlfriend that there had to be a new trash can... but no response... sigh!!!
Then I thought, I'm going to look into trash cans, it won't be that bad!
The nearly 500 kinds of trash cans came at me and I almost gave up...

After some selections, about 20 remained.
The trash can must be used for residual waste and GFT and must therefore have large liters. About 5 remained!
However, the choice has not yet fallen and I started comparing it on the basis of the reviews.
This showed that the Simplehuman Rectangular Classic GFT 30 + 16 Liter had the most pros for me and actually no real negatives, but I thought the price for a good "trash can" was quite expensive.
Fortunately, this is not too bad, since some trash cans have been worn out in the past and a relatively cheaper variant has been chosen every time for a few years and every time. It simply has a 10-year warranty!
I therefore ordered this trash can with good courage and I was able to surprise my girlfriend the next day with a new trash can!

Simplehuman has thought carefully about the use of an object that you use a lot every day.
For example, the trash can can be placed right against the wall and the flap never touches the wall.
The valve can also be secured with a button and the valve closes silently due to the well-functioning soft close.
The trash can just stays there (even if it's empty) when you step on the pedal.
Both inner buckets can be removed, which increases ease of use.
So far no more annoyance and happy every day with our new trash can!!!
