The sound is very good and warm and certainly not tinny (I was a bit afraid given the dimensions). I have the Bass setting at +1 and Treble at -1. It is also my first introduction to DAB + and I can already say that once you have DAB + you forget FM, not only for the better sound but also for the wider choice of stations (Radio 6, Sublime, Arrow in my case). The Bluetooth works fine and the sound quality is excellent. In addition to DAB+ and Bluetooth, I also use the alarm function with the DAB+ and that works great because it fades in slowly. Everything is very sturdy and well built. I take it around the house and it has become my own thing in the 3 weeks that I have it, so don't let anyone take it away....
