Bought this straightener because my old one broke after a few years. i.a. I chose the Philips HP8372 because I have the hair dryer from the same line of Philips and I am very satisfied with it.
Unfortunately, this straightener does not do what it promises at all. After 100x over the same section of hair at 200C, my hair is still not straight. I even thought I had forgotten to remove something from the plates, as there was hardly any result to be seen. I even tried the straightener with a different socket, because I thought (hoped) that that might be the problem.

I would have loved to have bought a new straightener right away (since I'm basically without it now, at least, with one that does nothing...), unfortunately that's not possible financially right now. Big bales!
