With this telescope you in fact mainly pay for the GoTo system, but the quality and ease of use of this is very disappointing. The telescope must be perfectly level, pointed to the north and all settings must be re-entered each time it is used. (Unfortunately, the clouds have already appeared before you're done with this). The telescope cannot then be aligned with GoTo because the (few) alignment stars are too low and/or were not visible enough to focus on. The manual is only in English and insufficiently informative if you have no experience with telescopes and/or GoTo. We have therefore decided to buy another telescope for this amount without GoTo (but with better specs in terms of optics) and to invest in a course (hanging/oldskool) stargazing :)
