With the Jamo S 807, you can listen to a balanced sound. This passive column speaker has a 25mm tweeter and twin 102mm woofers. Combined with WaveGuide technology, your music and movies will not only sound powerful, but also detailed and natural. The bass reflex port enhances the sound of the bass. Since this port is on the front, the sound won't distort if you place the speaker against the wall. The heavy MDF design is very sturdy, so you won't be bothered by unwanted vibrations. Very nice sound and design, I think they are fantastic!

No banana plugs included

First impression: beautiful design and the speakers feel heavy and solid. Both with and without dust cover I find them very beautiful; I still switch regularly because I don't know what I like better yet :-D

I also think the sound is fantastic, you have to be a real audiophile to find anything wrong with this. During the first hours the speakers do indeed have to 'play in' and they sound a bit tinny, but that picks up quickly and after that it is really enjoyable.

In short: the speakers have far exceeded my expectations in every aspect, I think they are fantastic!

Things I wish I had known beforehand:

There are no banana plugs included, but you do need them. So if you only have a speaker cable (like I had) without a plug, I would order that right away. Then you don't have to wait until you have been to the hardware store the next day before you can enjoy your purchase ;-) (like me)
You need (someone with) an electric screwdriver/cordless drill to screw the legs into the wood at the bottom. Apple egg once you figure out what the intention is, but if you want to do that with a hand screwdriver I wish you a lot of strength ;-)
