We have a renovated house with underfloor heating and ventilation type c+ and last winter the relative humidity dropped below 20% at one point. We even had a small humidifier with filters at the time, but because the underfloor heating easily heated the limited water reservoir, the filters quickly showed brown spots and eventually stopped working.
Then went looking for a humidifier / air washer without filters. Venta is a reputable brand and the stated capacity seems to be a rather realistic number, since it usually switches between position 0 / 1 and very occasionally position 2 or 3 when a dip is measured (door that has been open for a while) on automatic mode.
Installing and setting up the device itself is very simple. Just follow the quick start guide and fill the removable refill/spare reservoir twice and you're off. Connecting to the WiFi is also easy as long as you don't count on a WPS function and the password. You can also choose whether the device can only connect locally or can also connect to the cloud.
But the latter works so laboriously and more often than not, that I would not pay the extra charge for the WiFi function. We got this with a minimal overlay because there was a stock error on the side of coolblue (nice and quickly resolved). The iOS app works worse than Android's (Pie), but both are to die for. There is no variant for the iPad, so you're struggling with the iPhone app on the iPad.
Design wise, it's not my mother's prettiest, and it's a mystery to me why the black ones are more expensive than the white ones, but in the end it just sits in a corner of the room and does its thing. Sucks in air from the right and blows it out from the front and top.
It is a cold water evaporator so keep in mind that you will always get cold wind from the device. And it's not pleasant to sit in the airstream especially when it hits the higher revs.

In itself, it is a low-maintenance device. There is a hygiene disk in it which you have to replace every 3 months, in the app you can also see how many running hours are left before you have to change.
These disks are not for sale on coolblue at the time of writing. I'm guessing the non-WiFi version just indicates this on the screen.
On the other hand, you also have a special cleaning agent that ensures that the parts that you cannot reach remain in optimal condition. You then need a 250ml bottle on half a tank. Instructions are also given on the screen when you press cleaning.
Since we have only just received the device, I can't say much about it yet, other than that you have to take these recurring costs into account.
