According to our network switch expert
With the Ubiquiti Switch US-24-150W, you can provide 16 electrical devices at the office with their own unique internet connection. Each Ethernet port is suitable for PoE (Power over Ethernet). As a result, you don't need extra power cables. You can simply power all connected electronic devices via the network cable. With up to 34.2W PoE power, you create a strong network without interference at the office.

I bought this switch as an upgrade because the previous switch was full. The choice for the Ubiquiti Switch US-16-150W was quickly made as I wanted 16 ports + poe. The rest of my home infrastructure is also from Ubiquiti Unifi so the installation was done in 5 minutes.
The box is completely made of cardboard and on some small bags for the screws there is no plastic to be seen, this is a + for Ubiquiti!
The switch feels a bit cheap despite you paying 300 euros for it. It is a bit on the heavy side but can be hung in a rack or on the wall without any problems.
The installation was easy within 5 minutes this switch was in my network and the cables could be transferred from the old switch to the new switch. To manage the switch you need the free software from Ubiquiti called the Controller software. With this software you manage all your unifi devices from 1 piece of software, this works perfectly. If you have not yet run this software, the installation of the controller + adding the switch will succeed in 30 minutes. If you prefer not to use software but are a real nerd, there is also an option for a serial cable and you use the CLI.
This switch has two SFP ports that can accommodate an SPF module. Ubiquitie has them for Fiber, but also a module that can convert the SPF ports to an RJ45 port. This allows you to upgrade the switch from 16 ports to 18 ports.
Conclusion: For home use, this switch may be a bit overkill, but a real nerd / Ubiquiti fan can certainly use it. For small companies, this switch is highly recommended, especially in combination with the other products from Ubiquiti.

Almost plug and play but with tons of features. Good transfer speeds, haven't noticed any delay so far. All ports are PoE so a real power house. #PoEallthethings

It clicks seamlessly into the Unifi ecosystem. It is literally plugging in your switch and adopting it in the UDM. My access points and other wired equipment works flawlessly.
