Installing a 2.5 inch SSD is tricky due to fairly short internal cables that are difficult to put back with slightly larger hands (tweezers were my tool)

Bought this Nuc to replace my atx box (was 9 years old) which serves as a streaming device. In addition, browsing the Internet and YouTube. Transferred SSD from old PC, with a little effort, and mounted 16Gb memory bank. Bios configured and after that this little device works like a spear.

This nuc is the last of a series of 4 that I bought as a home test/study environment. Ideal for testing vSphere and/or storage things. I had bought nuc7i5BNH before, and these are also very good, but the nuc8i5 with the quad core CPUs is unbelievably fast. This replaces my desktop pc (quadcore AMD Athlon from 7 years old with 6GB ram :) ), runs windows and esxi as VM. The virtual esx instance is as fast as the nuc7 that run it natively.
