cannot say yet on reliability but I already transferred like 600Gb from a different HDD and it took some hours and all is good. Copying speed when you transfer from external HDD to another external HDD depends of course on both drives as well as USB ports of computer. That said I reached peaks of 120Mb/s with steady copying at 80Mb/s. It also went down to 20-30 Mb at times. After 1h of crunching it got bit warm which is not strange given there is no active heat evacuation, all is based on natural evacuation through holes.
