I haven't had the seagate 6TB for long and have barely used it; so this is a first impression. I can't say anything about reliability, I think this is a better question after several years of use.
I did a system backup and data backup, about 1 TB in total and it took almost a full day (I don't know if that's normal, I thought it was quite slow).
