For those who live in an old pre-war apartment with many clumsy corners, tables and cupboards with the occasional carpet, red carpet or other mat on an old laminate floor, a stick vacuum cleaner like this Samsung Jet 75pro is not a panacea. I definitely need my conventional vacuum cleaner with hose for certain tasks. The two vacuum cleaners complement each other.
What particularly appealed to me in this model was the 99.999% dust filtration. The lack of an LED in the suction mouth is a big loss. I especially wanted to use the mini motor suction nozzle that was initially intended for bed linen, mattresses, sofas etc for my two steep, narrow stairs of my 3-storey upstairs apartment, 1 of which is a spiral staircase and the other has a 45-degree bend. Both stairs are upholstered.
It is true that I can do the stairs more often now, without taking the conventional vacuum cleaner and fiddling with the cable and hose, but I can't reach everything with the mini suction nozzle. Once in a while I will have to vacuum everything with the conventional vacuum cleaner. With the hose you can reach everywhere faster and easier between the difficult, tight, narrow corners, because you do not lift the engine, which is sometimes awkwardly too large.
The vacuum cleaner is especially suitable for vacuuming my wooden slats with a brush, but also for the wooden frames and tops of my cabinets. On the ground floor I have mats and laminate and that is fine. A stick vacuum is much easier and faster and I do that with pleasure.
Suction power is ok. Disconnecting the dust container is also easy, but putting it back is a lot less easy for me. Somehow I don't get it clicked right back on the sled which sometimes irritates me a bit. Vacuuming on the floor is very light, but if a petty thief works a lot overhand, I will feel the slats in my arm. The top floor in the bedrooms, hobby room and landing only has laminate and the stick vacuum cleaner performs best there.
With the conventional vacuum cleaner, with which I always get into a fight with the hose and the cables and have to carry the heavy thing up and down the stairs, I cleaned my 110m2 apartment in 1x once a month, now with the stick vacuum cleaner I do it every day just a piece. Then the lower stairs with the floor, another day the upper floor and stairs or the living room, kitchen, hallway, etc. That is quite an improvement. Vacuuming under the couch is clumsy and the large brush nozzle sometimes loses contact with the floor because it sometimes sits crooked. It is best to slide the bench forward if you want to find out properly.
The Clean Station is a very valuable addition that you will not want to do without once you have the device. What has not become clear to me, in the manual, is whether and when I have to replace the ultra-fine dust filter and/or whether it is washable or not. The washable microfilter is only mentioned when it should be washed and how.
All in all, I don't regret buying it at all as it is a beautiful set and I enjoy it a lot, but it is still a big investment for someone with a small budget. It is a pity that some parts, such as the mini motorized suction nozzle, are not available separately.
