Sound without bar fine; all types of music, including classical music, are also well received via YouTube. Remote control solid, clear and fast response time. Haven't been able to try out gaming and many apps yet, so no judgment on that yet. In short: for normal use, this 40-inch quality device from Panasonic is better than a slightly larger and cheaper 43-inch device. Incidentally, the difference between these two inch sizes for you as a viewer seems negligible to me.
