It's up to you to complete a bunch of happy challenges before Cody and May can return to normal life. You can play this game with 2 players at most.

You can play this game via internet with a friend who doesn't own the game, with Friend's Pass. You can invite a friend and play together. This works cross-gen, so your PlayStation 4 can with a PlayStation 5 and Xbox with PC. PlayStation with Xbox isn't possible.
