An adventure in Sinnoh
You arrive in Sinnoh, the place where all events from Pokémon Diamond and Pokémon Pearl also happen. But this story is from way before, from a time where becoming a Pokémon Trainer or organizing a Pokémon League didn't exist yet. The Pokémon that you can find here may be familiar to you, but the rugged surroundings are probably different from the Sinnoh you know from Pokémon Diamond and Pokémon Pearl.
Catching Pokémon
To catch Pokémon in Pokémon Legends: Arceus, you observe them to get to know their behavior, sneak up on them, aim your Poké Ball, and throw. You can also create your own Pokémon battle with a Pokémon that you want to catch. Throw the Poké Ball with your own Pokémon near a wild Pokémon to start a battle. You can decide which attacks your Pokémon has to use.
Choose your starter Pokémon
At the beginning of your journey to make the first Pokédex of the region, you can choose between Rowlet, Cyndaquil, or Oshawott as your partner-Pokémon. A professor found these Pokémon during various excursions in other regions, and brought them back to Sinnoh.
