Was actually looking for an extra mini beamer that could be mounted semi-fixed to project above the stairs in the attic. However, the low light output (and high price) of the good models put me off. I no longer wanted a beamer with a normal lamp, due to the degradation of the lamp and having to let it cool down.
Then I saw this here at Coolblue, as a 2nd chance for a very attractive price (comparable to the mini beamers). The combination of 4LED, short throw and high light output made the choice quite easy. The beamer hangs at 1.70 from the wall and fills 2m42 in width, which amounts to something like 109 inches.
Sound is very good, the fan is not disturbing. Image is amazing: sharp, clear, and nice contrast. Gaming not yet tested, but judging by 8ms lag, it will be fine.
Very satisfied with this Benq and I was able to transform my attic into a true Home Cinema!
