I keep my garden tidy with the DeWalt DCMPH566N-XJ. In addition, I can reach places that were previously difficult to reach and I no longer need a ladder.
Positively surprised
After using this hedge trimmer I wondered why I hadn't bought a new one sooner. My old hedge trimmer worked fine, but I always needed a ladder. The difficult spots were almost impossible to do with the old device. Then I came across this one and was pleasantly surprised by the adjustable telescopic handle. My hedge is 2.5 meters high and with this hedge trimmer I can easily reach the top of the hedge from the ground, without a ladder. I must say that the device is quite heavy, especially if you use it above your head for a long time. For shorter jobs, the weight is not a problem.
Work cordlessly
My previous hedge trimmer was electric, so was tied to a socket and extension cord while pruning. This DeWalt hedge trimmer works with an 18V battery. Now I don't have to worry about the wiring and I can get started right away. In addition, you can now grab it a little faster and you don't trip over the cables, so it's a lot safer. The battery is not included as standard, but fortunately I still had a battery from the DeWalt XR 18V battery platform at home. The power provided by the battery is more than enough to prune my hedge. With somewhat larger branches, thicker than 3 centimeters, the hedge trimmer has a little more difficulty. I can prune branches smaller than 3 centimeters without any difficulty.
Little vibration during pruning
This DeWalt hedge trimmer feels good and sturdy, just like other DeWalt garden tools. A device that radiates quality and you really feel that while doing the work. When I started pruning my hedge I didn't feel the hedge trimmer vibrating as much. This was very nice, because it allowed me to work with good control. This way I ensure that my hedges and garden look neat again.
