Description

The DJI Inspire 3 is an advanced drone for the professional videographer or cinematographer. A full-frame Zenmuse X9-8K camera with gimbal is included with the drone. This allows you to capture stable images in 8K resolution. This provides razor-sharp videos that are suitable for commercial use. On the built-in screen of the included controller, you can view the images while you fly. You record in the CinemaDNG file format, which extends the possibilities during post-processing. You can adjust the colors and lighting of your images to your liking. The drone flies at up to 94km/h. You can easily follow a moving car when recording a commercial, for example. In the supplied case, you can safely store the drone and transport it to a recording location.

Image quality

The 360-degree pan range lets you show off beautiful environments. The camera rotates completely. This is how you take special recordings. The dynamic range of 14 stops lets you capture detailed images, even in dark conditions. In addition to the full-frame Zenmuse X9-8K camera, the DJI Inspire 3 has a built-in FPV camera. This allows you to see exactly where you're flying. If you buy an additional remote, you can control the drone with 2 people at the same time. You can control the drone with the first remote while someone else controls the gimbal with the second remote.

Functions

You can easily capture cinematic images with the Waypoint Pro function. You can draw the drone's route on the screen of the remote. As soon as the recording starts, the drone flies this route automatically. That way, you can focus on operating the camera. If you use Repeatable Routes, the drone follows the exact same route again. For example, fly through nature in different lighting circumstances. You can make a timelapse of the sunset from these images.

Obstacle detection

The DJI Inspire 3 has sensors for obstacle detection on all sides. It automatically moves around obstacles, such as trees. This way, you don't crash as easily. You can switch off the sensors individually. You can turn the sensors on the sides off when you're flying close to a building, for example. You get a warning on your remote when you fly too close to an obstacle.

Laws and regulations

From 2021 onward, new European drone regulations apply. This means that drone pilots must register themselves if they own a drone that weighs more than 250g or has a camera. They receive an operator number that needs to be attached to your drone and clearly visible. This drone weighs less than 250g, so you need a course. You also need to register the drone and request an operator number.
