With the Wisberg WBVR170NFE freezer I have enough space for all the groceries of my 3-person household. The drawers are clearly arranged and thanks to the shelves I can quickly grab things. I can easily set the freezer via the display and I spend little time on maintenance thanks to No Frost and the covered condenser. I only put this freezer in my kitchen, because it is not suitable for the shed.
First impression
The first thing I notice about this freezer is the nice layout. I can see at a glance what is in the 4 transparent drawers. Above the drawers there are 2 more shelves, where I can quickly grab things. The freezer has air circulation. That is nice, because it is equally cold everywhere. So it does not matter whether I put my pizzas in the bottom drawer or on a shelf. With 204 liters of content I store the groceries of 2 to 3 people here, so just enough for my family.
Handy extendable shelves
My freezer is usually completely full of food. However, there are a number of ingredients that I often use, such as frozen fruit for my smoothies and boxes of my favourite ice creams. Thanks to the handy extendable shelves, I can grab these quickly and easily. Great, because that way I don't have to search through every drawer for what I need. By pulling lightly on the edge, the shelf slides forward smoothly.
Easy to set
The freezer is easy to set via the display. I choose from preset temperatures here. In the manual I read that - 18 degrees Celsius is recommended, so I choose this. My products freeze well with this. I also choose the super freeze option here. This lowers the temperature, so that all my new products freeze well. By holding down the 'Set' button for 3 seconds, Super Freeze switches on. Are all my products cooled enough? Then I switch this function off again in the same way.
Low maintenance
I like to spend as little time as possible on maintaining my freezer. Fortunately, that is not a problem here. Thanks to No Frost, no ice forms in the freezer compartment. This means I never have to defrost the freezer. This saves me a lot of time and I never have to take everything out of my freezer at the same time. In addition, the condenser at the back is also covered. Great, because this prevents dust from accumulating and I do not have to keep it clean. The freezer cannot be placed in a shed or other unheated environment. That is something to take into account when looking for a model for this.
