After our 4 year old son destroyed the 5 year old model by throwing a toy, we were forced to buy a new TV. We always liked Ambilight, so that was a requirement in any case. Unfortunately, Philips has equipped the cheaper models with Titan OS instead of Google TV. Still put it to the test (and factored in a separate chromecast). Unfortunately, I found Titan OS to be very limited and closed, and I missed certain apps that are not on Titan OS but are available on Google TV (such as NPO, Spotify, RadioNed+). Casting also didn't work at all. Fortunately, the new Google Streamer 4K works fine with this TV. The image quality is fine in itself and clearly better than the older model. What is noticeable is a bit of a white haze in the corners with very dark images. We don't have any problems with that, by the way. Otherwise very satisfied.
