It's a good successor to previous Soundsticks. The lighting is a nice bonus, and the sound is, as expected, good. Installation isn't very complicated, but the manual is sometimes a bit lacking. I had some minor issues, such as no sound coming through or the volume adjustments. But with a bit of searching online, I managed to figure them out. The device is supported by an app. I personally prefer to be able to control everything through the device, but that's not always the case here. Fortunately, many basic functions are also supported on the right speaker. I'm curious how the app works and how well it supports me after many years. My "old" Soundsticks are almost 20 years old and still in use, although I've had to replace the power supply a few times. With these Soundsticks, the power supply is integrated into the device, so it can only be replaced by repair. I can't yet comment on the durability of the Soundsticks 5.
