The Huawei Watch GT 6 Pro is a robust outdoor watch with a long battery life. This sturdy watch can withstand a knock or two and provides me with comprehensive insight into my health and sports performance.
Robust design
The watch case is 46 millimeters and has a robust design. The edges are angular, giving the watch a larger appearance. The GT 6 Pro is quite heavy, but it's comfortable to wear. I barely feel it on my wrist. The watch case is made of durable zirconium and the screen is made of sapphire crystal. So the watch can withstand a knock or two.
Bright screen and always easy to read
The screen is very bright and has rich colors. This keeps everything clearly visible when I'm looking at the screen outdoors in bright sunlight or looking at the watch from the side. When I scroll or tap an app, the screen responds quickly.
Long battery life
I used the watch for four days with the always-on screen enabled. During those four days, I only worked out for an hour. After those four days, I had about 50 percent remaining. So the watch only needs to be charged once a week. It lasts longer if the always-on screen is turned off.
Extensive insight into my health
The watch measures my heart rate and movement throughout the day. The data is very accurate, so I know exactly what my stress level is and how many steps I take. At night, the watch measures my sleep. In the Huawei Health app on my smartphone, I get a daily sleep score and tips to improve my sleep if needed. I can only use Huawei apps. For example, I don't listen to Spotify music directly from the GT 6 Pro.
More than 100 sports modes
During a bike ride, I see that the smartwatch displays my power output in addition to my heart rate and distance. It's like wearing a kind of bike computer on my wrist. When scrolling through all the sports modes, I see that the watch is also suitable for golf and scuba diving. I haven't tested this myself. In the Huawei Health app on my smartphone, I find many different training plans. From half-marathon running plans to gym workouts, I load all these plans onto my smartwatch. That way, I get notifications when I need to exercise again.
