The handles are solid and stable. Are very well secured and tightening the handles is a thing of the past because who does not know that the handles always have a loose screw. The temperature of the handles is fine during cooking and are certainly not excessively hot. The lid is made with a fine viewing window, but this viewing window will also fog up. What is definitely a top factor is that the lid handle gets minimally warm in our experience. I am very enthusiastic about the Red plastic insulation layer. This ensures that the lid is easy to handle and not excessively hot. I even managed to hold the handle of the lid with boiling water.
