Bought my first pair of K240 in 2005. I can read and write with it and the sound image is nice and neutral. Recently I noticed that one membrane was not quite right and that there was a distortion at certain frequencies and volumes. So I ordered a new pair. Besides the distortion, I was surprised how the old and new sound so much alike. So after all these years they still give almost exactly the same sound as if they were new. That's quality.
