Now I'm in the middle of the city center with a lot of WiFi APs around me. But I haven't been able to find a place for the base station that will allow to cover both the front door camera and the gate behind my house (about 40 meters between them). Connection dropped continuously at that distance - even if the camera still showed 2 or 3 bars of reception. Operation with a WiFi range extender is also not recommended. For the greatest possible stability, it is still best to hang the base station directly on your wired router.
