Had ordered a Hercules DJMonitor 42 Duo Pack to replace my older XPS 2.0 60 DJ Set from Hercules, the new speakers resemble the old ones like two drops of water. On the old one, the internal amp had started to flip after 6 years, often only one speaker working, or one silent and the other loud. When connecting the new set immediately a loud crackling / noise from the active speaker, the passive speaker did nothing. Checked all connections and ok, signal cables pulled out, still loud crackling when turned on, even with the volume knob all the way to zero. Conclusion, amplifier broken in a brand new set, straight out of the box on first use, unimaginable. It is clear to me, I will never buy anything from that brand again.
