Just bought this router, the installation was easy with the app. Although you can set more settings in the router's menu by logging in from a PC. Selected this router to improve the wifi of the Kpn experiabox, that was successful with the AX8. High end AC routers are about the same price and don't support AX wifi 6 networks, so this seemed like a good choice. I have no experience with high-end routers, but the range of this one is about 25 meters through an outer wall, a fence and a stone garden wall. With 1 bar of range I still have a 40mbit connection from the 100mbit internet. The WiFi of the experiabox was already out of range at a distance of 10 meters. Don't have AX devices yet, but this router can also handle more connections with older AC equipment than a router without AX. What I've read about it on the internet is not so much the speed of the connection, but the amount of devices you can connect to it without it becoming slow. There is a fan on the router that only turned on at the 1st startup, it also stays off for me, but when the weather is warm and the router is maxed out, it could turn on. The network ports are 1 Gigabit but can also be combined for 2 Gigabit connections, which seems to me to be fast enough for internet connections for the time being. I think it is a very good device, highly recommended.
