According to our monitor expert
With the LG Ergo 38WQ88A-B 38 inches curved ultrawide QXGA USB-C monitor, you can edit photos and videos at the highest settings. The screen wraps around your field of view thanks to the curved design, which gives you a very good overview of your work. The ultrawide aspect ratio provides extra screen space, so you can open Adobe Premiere Pro and Adobe Lightroom next to each other. This means that you don't have to switch tabs as much on the 38-inch screen. The visual aspects are in the ultrawide QHD resolution, HDR10 support, and 95% coverage within the DCI-P3 color space. With this combination, the monitor is suitable for professional image editing. And the multi-functional monitor arm gives you endless possibilities in terms of adjusting the screen. So you can always assume the right sitting posture and prevent neck and back problems when you're working. In addition, you can organize your desk with 1 cable via the USB-C port. This port transfers data, sends image signals, and charges devices with a power of 90W. This way, you'll always have a full battery when you're done working.

I don't normally write reviews, but because I've done a lot of research into the right screen myself, I still want to write a review.
I was looking for a 38” ultrawide monitor, because the usual 34” seemed too small to me (after all, it is “only” 1.5 on a 24” screen), a 49” screen seemed too big and my laptop only supports 1 external screen. At first I was curious if it was even possible to connect a 38” monitor to my laptop as an external screen, because it doesn't have a great video card. This turned out to be no problem. It also had to contain several HDMI ports, because my PlayStation also had to be connected to it.
I can report that this screen can do all this without any effort. It projects the laptop image razor sharp (admittedly 30Hz, but that is not due to the screen) and the PlayStation screen is displayed well. You can choose whether you want to use the original image (16:9) with letterboxing or whether you want to display the image fullscreen (i.e. 21:9). It takes some getting used to, but the 21:9 image actually looks very cool! It is also possible to connect 2 PCs and display them both with the PBP function.
The installation is very easy and can be done on your own. The monitor arm is beautiful and offers the possibility to process cables in the arm. Furthermore, the image quality is really above average, even with PlayStation image at 21:9 ratio.
If you are looking for a good multifunctional 38” monitor, I definitely recommend this one!
