Description

The Sony A7R III is a fast mirrorless camera for the professional photographer. Thanks to the back-illuminated 42.4 megapixel CMOS sensor, you can take sharp photos with a lot of detail. If you want to print these images in a large size, the pixels aren't easily visible. The camera has a large dynamic range up to 15 stops. This allows you to take clearer photos with a lot of detail, even in a dark setting. The camera has different creative modes, which you can use to recreate a retro photo, for example. This way, you can easily take special photos and videos in your own style.

Noise reduction

You can easily expand the high 100-32,000 ISO range to maximum 102,400. Thanks to the noise reduction and image stabilization up to 5 stops, you can create sharp images without noise with little light, even when you photograph from your hand.

Focus

The autofocus system of the Sony A7R III has 399 focus points, that cover 68% of the screen. The camera has real time tracking and Eye autofocus for people and animals. This way, moving subjects stay sharp. The camera focuses accurately on the eye of the model, even in a dark setting or if a part of the face is covered. This makes it suitable for portrait photographers.

Video

You can record in 4K resolution with 30 fps. This leads to sharp and smooth images. These videos are suitable for professional video productions and social media. In Full HD resolution, you can make recordings with 120 fps. You can slow down these images to get smooth slow motion videos. The experienced videographer also has the possibility to record in S-Log3 and S-Log2. This file format has a larger dynamic range, so you can adjust the lighting and the color more easily in the post-edit.
