The Wisberg WBKK143EW is a spacious 1-door refrigerator in which I store the groceries of 3 to 4 people. With the height-adjustable shelves, I can divide the refrigerator exactly the way I like it. I do miss a small freezer compartment for some frozen products.
First impression
The first thing I notice about this 1-door refrigerator is the silver handle. This contrasts nicely with the white design of the refrigerator itself. I can easily open the door with the handle. Great, because then I quickly grab something to drink. I place the handle on the left side, but if I ever place it somewhere else, I can easily adjust the handle to the other side. This makes it suitable for any kitchen. The bright LED lighting that comes on when I open the door is also useful. This way I can also grab a snack late in the evening without having to turn on the light in the kitchen. I set the temperature via the dial. I have a choice of 7 settings here. According to the manual, setting 7 is the coldest and setting 4 is the recommended setting.
Plenty of space for 3 to 4 people
I usually get my major groceries in one go. It is therefore important that I have a lot of space. With 242 liters of cooling space, I have enough space for my family of 3 people.
I eat a lot of fruit and vegetables. I am therefore happy with the spacious vegetable drawer. This opens very easily, so I can pull it open with one hand. I can store my jars of sauces and cartons of milk in the door compartments. I also have enough space for tall bottles and my cartons of eggs. I do miss a small freezer compartment for my bread or some popsicles.
Easy to divide
The refrigerator has 5 shelves. This allows me to keep my groceries organized. The shelves are adjustable in height. Am I having a party and have some large or tall products such as bottles of juice, wine or a cake? Then I raise one of the shelves so that I can easily make room for it. Great, because this way I divide the refrigerator based on my groceries and I am sure I always have room for it.
Low maintenance
Thanks to the covered condenser, I have little maintenance. Because it is not open, there is no layer of dust on the back. Handy, because this way I leave the refrigerator in place and I don't have to keep bringing it out.
