Cleaning laminate with a steam cleaner should be done with care. A laminate floor is fragile and very sensitive to moisture. Especially if the laminate hasn't been sealed or oiled. Steam mops and sled steam cleaners can still be used on laminate. When you set the steam to the lowest setting and use at least 2 cloths, little can happen. The steam hardly comes into direct contact with the floor. Make sure that you don't use steam in the same place for too long, because this is the only way to dry residual moisture quickly and without streaks. Not sure?
