Smart TVs
A smart TV is a television with an internet connection. This gives you access to useful apps, missed broadcasts, and streaming services like Netflix and YouTube. The operating system for these smart functions varies by brand. The better-known platforms are Tizen by Samsung, Android by Sony and Philips, WebOS by LG, and my Home Screen by Panasonic. Every platform has advantages and disadvantages. Other TV manufacturers and smaller TVs usually have their own smart TV operating system. These basic smart platforms are often slower and have fewer apps and settings than the well-known services.
