How do you share Apple TV with your family?
You can easily share Apple TV with your family members. That way, they can also enjoy exclusive movies and series on Apple TV+. With personal user profiles, every user will see their own favorite apps and recommended movies and series. It's not difficult to share your Apple TV with your family or to switch between user profiles. You can only add extra users with the Apple TV HD (4th generation) and newer. The users you want to add need to have Apple ID.

Via the Settings app on Apple TV, you can easily add users.
- open the Settings app and scroll to Users and accounts. Click here.
- click Add new user.
- enter the Apple ID information of the person you want to add to your Apple TV.

Switch between users
You can easily switch between users via the Siri Remote. Press and hold the home button until the control panel appears. You'll see the different users you can choose from. There's also a slightly more difficult way to switch between users. Open Settings and go back to Users and accounts. Go to Current user and select the user you want to activate.
