Apple trade-in: which products participate?
With Apple trade-in at Coolblue, you can hand in your old device for a discount on various Apple products. you can buy your new Apple device online or in the store, and have to return your old device at the store within 30 days. There, we'll calculate the trade-in value. We'll transfer the value to the bank account you paid with within 7 working days.

What's the value of my old device?
The value of your device depends on the model and condition of your product. The expert determines the value of your product in the store. You can go ahead and check the estimated trade-in value online. The final trade-in value can differ, as the amounts differ regularly.
Can I also hand in my old Apple product without buying a new one?
Yes, you can. You'll receive the trade-in value as CoolblueCredit. You can use this to buy something from us later. You can find the credit in your Coolblue account within 14 days. After that, the CoolblueCredit is valid for a year.

Which devices can I trade in and where can I do this?
You can hand in your smartphone, tablet, MacBook, Apple Watch, or AirPods in the store with us. For smartphones and tablets, the brand doesn't matter. For other devices, we only accept Apple products. You have up to 30 days after your purchase to trade in your device.
What happens with my device after I trade it in?
If the device is still in good condition, we'll give it a second life. If it's not, we'll recycle the device. This makes Apple upgrade sustainable and leads to less electronic waste.
Do you have to have purchased your device at Coolblue to be able to trade it in?
No, that's not necessary. You can also trade in your smartphone, tablet, MacBook, or Apple Watch with us if you bought it at a different store.
