Kelvin explained

The color temperature of a light source is expressed in Kelvin, where 0°C is 273 Kelvin. The lower the number of Kelvin, the warmer the light color and vice versa. For a low color temperature results in very warm yellow light. And a high color temperature results in cool, bright white light. Simply put, the color temperature indicates how warm or cool the light is. Instead of a certain number of Kelvin, we often use terms like extra warm white, warm white, neutral white, or cool white light to simplify things.
