How do you hand over your old product to DHL?
Do you want us to process your old appliance in an environmentally-friendly way? Give your old toothbrush, coffee machine, laptop, or other product to DHL. For example, you can bring it to a DHL pickup point or give it to the DHL delivery driver. Read how to hand in your old product for free.
Step 1: check the conditions by DHL
Before you hand in your old product, check if you meet the conditions by DHL. For example, you can't hand in products with damaged or broken batteries. Your old product also needs to be packed.
Step 2: pack your old product
DHL only takes packed products.
Put your product in a box with a maximum size of 120x60x60cm. For example, use the Coolblue box of your new product. Are there any old shipping labels on the box? Remove these. Check if your package doesn't weigh more than 31.5kg.
Step 3: create a shipping label
You can create your shipping label on the DHL website.
- Click on the button 'Create your shipping label'.
- Enter your own name and address and click on 'Weiter'.
- Download your shipping label via 'PDF öffnen und drucken'.
- Print the label and apply it to the box. Don't have a printer? Save the PDF on your mobile phone and show it to the DHL delivery driver or at the DHL pickup point. They will scan the QR code in the PDF file.
- Give your package to the DHL delivery driver or DHL pickup point in your area.
