How do you replace a LEGO brick?
Are you building a LEGO set, but are you missing a brick or does one break? Luckily, LEGO can quickly help you get a new brick. On this page, you can read how to request a LEGO brick from LEGO step by step.
Request a new brick via the LEGO website
Via the LEGO website, you can easily request a new brick or buy separate LEGO bricks. You need the set number of your box and the piece number of your brick from the building instructions. LEGO can then find the exact right brick and send it to your address. Did you buy the set new? LEGO will often send you the right pieces without extra costs. Note: if you're missing multiple LEGO bricks, you have to put in multiple requests.
Request LEGO brick
- Gather all information you need. The set number is on the box, and you can find the piece number in the building instructions. Don't have paper instruction booklets anymore? View the PDF building instructions on the LEGO website.
- Go to the 'Replacement parts' page on the LEGO website. Choose whether it concerns a missing piece or a broken piece.
