Universal connection for all devices

Most electrically rechargeable devices have to have a USB-C port since the end of 2024. From 28 April 2026, this rule also applies to laptops. New laptops will be shipped without a charger. With our laptops, we indicate if it includes a charger. Isn't it included? Order one with it. Because you charge everything via USB-C, you only need 1 good charger that has enough power for all your devices.

Which wattage do you need?

If you want to charge all your devices with the same charger, you need enough power. The 15W adapter for your smartphone is unsuitable for your laptop. A laptop needs at least 65W power. Getting a powerful laptop, such as a gaming laptop? You need more wattage. With a too low wattage, the laptop charges slowly or not even at all. That way, you shorten the lifespan of your battery.

What type of charger do you need?

There are multiple types of chargers. If you only want to charge your laptop, go for an adapter with 1 USB-C port. Want to charge multiple devices at the same time, such as your laptop and smartphone? Choose an adapter with multiple USB ports. Do keep the power distribution in mind when you connect multiple devices at the same time. That way, you make sure you don't deliver too little power to one of your devices.
