You can use an indoor IP camera to monitor an indoor space. These cameras are splash proof and aren't suitable for outdoors. You can keep an eye on the nursery or living room, but not on your garden. Keep in mind that an indoor camera isn't suitable for filming the outside through a window, due to the reflection of infrared.
