According to our jigsaw expert
With a maximum cutting depth of 150 millimeters in wood, it is also suitable for the heavier sawing jobs.
Thanks to the variable speed, you can perfectly adjust the cutting speed to the material to be cut.
The anti-splinter attachment prevents splintering during the finer sawing.
Just 1 saw blade included.
Even the thicker and hard wooden beams are no match for the Bosch GST 150 BCE jigsaw. With the 780 watt motor you cut up to 150 millimeters deep in wood and up to 10 millimeters in metal. Thanks to the handle, you have sufficient grip and long-term work is no punishment. The variable speed and the 4 pendulum positions ensure that you use the correct cutting setting in every material and for every application. The footplate is very robust and bend-free, so that it also holds up during the heavier sawing jobs. The cable length of the GST 150 BCE is 4 meters long enough to move freely. A suitcase is supplied with which you store the saw machine neatly after use.
I bought this Bosch as a replacement for my 15 year old Hitachi. I've been using it almost constantly for 2 hours now to cut pallets for the stove. That is no problem at all for this device. It's a real workhorse. The only drawback I think is that it is quite heavy, but therefore feels robust.
