According to our multi cutter expert
The multi cutter is very versatile, and can be used as a woodworking router and an edge cutter.
When loaded, the woodworking router's RPM remains constant.
Thanks to the built-in LED lighting, you can always see your work clearly.
It doesn't have SoftStart, so the motor engages fully once it's switched on.
With the DeWalt D26204K, you're getting both a woodworking router and an edge cutter. The aluminum motor casing is easy to move to another sole, so you can turn a woodworking router into an edge cutter. On top of that, the variable speed makes the machine suitable for various milling applications in different materials. The electronic speed regulation ensures a constant uniform fine finish in all types of wood, aluminum, and plastic, because the set speed appears to be constant under any pressure. Wherever you use the D26204K, you'll be able to see exactly what you're doing thanks to the LED lighting.
Bought this big saw ("it's not a saw!!!") for my friend's 30th birthday, because: 30 is a real age so there must also be real tools. He looks at the cutter the way he looked at me on our first date: love at first sight. Now he spends evenings watching videos in which "milling jobs" can be seen, so that he is optimally prepared for the real thing: a ceiling-high compartment cabinet (on my order of course, hence the router: "I really can't do that without a router! !").
If I feel like it I will supplement my review with a photo of the cabinet..... but I guess (....) that this will take a while.

Nice tools! The new idea/system works very well; an easy way to adjust the depth of cut. Included accessories fit well and work fine.
