According to our mouse pad expert
You can alter this height-adjustable mouse pad to suit your own arm.
Prevent RSI with the ergonomic wrist rest.
This mouse pad is suitable for optical and laser mouses.
Less suitable for gaming purposes.
The Kensington Premium Mouse Pad with Gel is height-adjustable, so you can set it to the optimal height that supports your wrist and prevent RSI. The cushion is filled with gel, ensuring that you keep your wrist in a natural, ergonomically sound position. The anti-slip layer on the underside of the mouse pad keeps it firmly in place.
I've been working as a programmer for 4 years and recently started to get a little bit of painful wrist/pinky/ring finger. Since I know the risks of RSI, I wanted to preventively work more ergonomically at work. First I bought the Logitech MX Master. Although this is a very pleasant mouse, the complaints did not immediately decrease. So I decided to combine the mouse with this mouse pad with wrist rest. To my surprise, all complaints disappeared within a few days and in the meantime I have had no problems at all!
Although 25 euros for a mouse pad is not little, it is well worth the purchase! Especially for "power users" like me (to prevent RSI), but purely for comfort it is also recommended for occasional computer users.

I've been having a lot of pain in my wrist when I work with the mouse for a while. I sit in front of the PC at work for hours. Since using the kensington premium mouse pad with gel, I have almost no pain. So a very good product! The build quality also looks very professional and it is a very strong material. I may be ordering a second one for home use soon.

The support for your wrists is fine. The mouse glides wonderfully over the mouse pad. Even with an optical mouse, there are no hitches in the mouse movement on the screen. Fits very firmly on the desktop without slipping. Truly a professional mouse pad for long-term work.
