The Oehlbach BOOOM! is a type Y subwoofer cable to connect active subwoofers to your home cinema system with. Thanks to the large diameter of the internal conductor and coaxial design, this cable is suitable to transmit bass. The conductor is made from oxygen-free copper and is enclosed with a woven copper braid, so signal disturbances don't stand a chance. This keeps the quality of the signal undistorted and lets you get the most out of your home cinema system

I use this cable to connect a subwoofer from q-acoustics to an onkyo amplifier, and it just works great! Good thick cable that is still flexible.

This cable was to replace my existing, very thin subwoofer cable. The sub hummed after purchasing a new receiver. This has now been resolved.
